  • Pastilles

    Serie schalen uit keramiek naar aanleiding van een onderzoek naar de fysieke eigenschappen van vloeibare klei. Tijdens het productie proces wordt de klei in mallen gegoten. Tijdens het droogproces wordt de  klei vroegtijdig uit de mal gehaald voordat ze leerhard is, zodat het wordt blootgesteld aan de zwaartekracht en het zich op een natuurlijke manier kan vormen. Op deze manier ontstaat er een natuurlijke verdieping in het materiaal die door de mens niet na te maken is. Ontworpen en ontwikkeld met Anna Van der Lei

    Series of ceramic bowls, following an investigation into the physical properties of liquid clay. In the production process, the clay is poured into molds. During the drying process, the clay is removed from the mold at an early stage before it is “leather firm”, so that it can be exposed to the force of gravity and shape in a natuaral curve. This creates a natural pit, that cant be imitated by man. Designed and developed with Anna van der Lei.
